Nabaraku is a renovated traditional Japanese mountain lodge built  from cedar wood, originally designed for life in the Japanese Alps.  During the renovation, we focused on preserving the spirit and  atmosphere of the original house — its materials, proportions, and sense  of calm — while carefully improving comfort for contemporary stays.

The  result is a place where traditional Japanese character meets thoughtful  modern upgrades. While the overall feeling remains warm and natural,  key elements such as bathrooms and facilities have been modernized to  ensure comfort, privacy, and ease of use.
